We offer primitive styled wooden doll costume stands for displaying handsewn, artisan or factory made high end doll costumes. All of our current inventory is listed on our Doll Mannequins page.
After a year of trying to make historically appropriate stuffed muslin doll costume mannequins which were inconsistently sized and hard to make, we designed a wooden stand that was always the correct waist size for sewing costumes for each of our reproduction art dolls and antique dolls in our collection. Having lots of extra doll costume stands helped to save wear and tear on our more valuable dolls and made it easier to take our newest costume creations to events. We are focused on doll costume stand production primarily for antique or reproduction French Fashion dolls (8" and 12" and 16" and 18"), Huret DP Resin Body 15.5 - 16", 11" Bleuette, 14" Rosette and 6" Hitty.
All of our mannequin patterns are original to us, handcrafted and hand sanded by a seamstress turned woodworker from a basement studio in Northern Kentucky, USA. We are offering several costume stand variations on this site which we think would appeal to other art doll seamstresses recreating wardrobes for their best doll.
